Comments: Current ski trail conditions are excellent across the board. There really is nothing else we can say to exemplify this any further. The skiing is simply excellent right now!
Weather wise, it has been a snowy winter on the Gunflint Trail this year with our trail base now ranging between 12 and 16 inches in depth, snowcat groomed. A few inches shy of 70 inches of snow has blanketed the Central Gunflint Ski Trail System this 2015/16 season. With the very consistent supply of weekly and sometimes (annoyingly) daily snowfall this winter, we’re actually 2 inches of snow ahead of where we were last year on this date for total snowfall on the year. It has been, and still is, a beautiful winter.
